Trustees

Mr Purna Shrestha
Purna is an education expert with 27 years of experience in international development and education. Purna has worked as a primary teacher, head teacher and a teacher trainer in Nepal. As a lead education advisor for VSO International, Purna has involved in developing innovative teacher training and inclusive education programmes in several countries in Asia and Africa since 2009.
Purna is a member of the steering committee of the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030
and a member of Global Advisory Group of United Nation Girls' Education Initiative (UNGEI).
Purna loves travelling , photography , cooking , dancing and music.

Mr Narayan Sharma
Narayan is a software consultant and currently working for energy commodities trading company developing software for traders to help them make quick decision before market reaction.
Narayan has many years of experience in software designing and development using latest Microsoft technologies.
He loves playing badminton and chess.
Secretary

Mr. Yadu Aryal
Mr. Yadu Aryal, is Chartered Accountant by profession with his own accountancy and business consultancy firm.
He is an avid traveller having travelled to more than 50 countries . His indepth understanding of different culture and interactions during his travel has given him passion and motivation to help our children understand their root and cultural heritage.
He is also passionate about giving back to society and is actively involved and volunteering for charity organisations.
Yadu also was involved in travel and tourism industry for more than 10 years. He loves sports and is an keen table tennis player.

Mr. Prem Khadka
Prem is a Director of VKM Accountants Ltd. Prem is active in several social organisations in different roles .For him social work is a passion, a drive to help others and to make a positive lasting impact on the well being of others in the community. He has served as the President of CSUK (2014 -2016).

Mr Sulav Pant
Currently working for PwC, Sulav has many years of experiences working in projects involving large multinational organisations, local authorities, emergency services, transportation and school.
A keen cyclist ,Sulav is actively involved and passionate about this project.

Mr Bhaskar Karmacharya
Bhaskar has been working as a financial services professional for the last 9 years. Also a Fulbright Scholar, Bhaskar has been actively engaged and passionate about EYES UK’s objectives.
Bhaskar is experienced in business development and has worked in a variety of industries such as textiles, medicinal herbs and financial services.
Bhaskar enjoys cricket and plays from a local club whenever he can.

Mr. Sushil Prasai
Mr Sushil Prasai is an accountant by profession.
Sushil also has coordinated numerous farmer welfare projects in rural Nepal as an agricultural graduate. He is very passionate and committed to giving back to the community through this project. He has strong values built around helping others.
He can be seen playing guitar at organised events. , he is also a keen cyclist and loves sports.

Ms Sweesa Shrestha
Sweesa, trained as an architect and urban planner , she is currently working at Smith and Byford as BEMS project designer.
She believes that children should learn their mother tongue and should be exposed to their culture and heritage. Losing one’s ability to communicate in native language closes many doors.
She volunteers as a teaching assistant at Prarambha Pathshaala once a week.
She loves painting and travelling.

Mrs. Rachana Karmacharya
Currently working in a local primary school, Rachana is passionate about early education and has volunteered several years as a teaching assistant.
Before moving to the UK Rachana worked in the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, US in administrative department and is experienced in teaching both children and adults.
Rachana also worked in an advertising agency when she was in Nepal.
